This is the refund and returns policy for AUSTRALIAN CARELETT HOLDINGS PTY LTD trading as Doors City
At Doors CIty we stand by our product and want you to be happy with your Doors City purchase. If for some reason, you are unsatisfied with your purchase or feel that the item(s) received is incorrect please contact Doors CIty Return Department via email at info@DoorsCity.com.au
Change of Mind Returns
At Doors CIty we are happy to offer you a refund or exchange if you have simply changed your mind. If this is the case, please return the item(s) within 45 days of receipt for a Doors City store credit or refund via the original payment method used.
Custom Doors Orders Cancelled Before Shipment
If you have placed an order for a custom-made Door, there is no need to worry as Doors City offers full refunds on all Custom Doors Orders cancellations. Please note, Doors CIty only has the capacity to facilitate refunds on each individual piece once it has been fully made and ready to ship out. If you have placed multiple orders for different products at one time, Doors CIty reserves the right to send a partial refund to reflect the amount of Doors City product cancelled. Doors CIty will notify you once your order has been fully manufactured and is ready for pick up.
Custom Doors Orders Cancelled After Shipment
If you have placed an order for a Custom Door and need to cancel after it has been shipped, Doors CIty reserves the right not accept any cancellations or refunds on any custom-made Doors City product due to their custom nature.
Unopened Surplus Refunds
Unopened Surplus items are deemed unclaimed when they are returned back to Doors CIty in an ‘unopened’ condition after 60 days from the date of shipment.
Warranty Claims
Doors City Warranties apply to Doors CIty products only. Doors CIty does not provide any warranty on products that are purchased from unauthorized dealers, and Doors CIty is not liable for such additional costs as initial shipping fees, taxes, loss of profit and the like. Doors City reserves the right to refuse a refund if a product returned is deemed not under warranty at Doors CIty’s discretion.
Faulty Product Claims
If you receive an incorrect or faulty Door due to Doors CIty’s error, we will cover shipping fees both ways on replacement items only. Please note all claims must be submitted in writing to Doors CIty via email at info@DoorsCity.com within 30 days of receipt so that Doors CIty may properly review your claim and offer assistance. Consumer Guarantees and Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our Doors City products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have Doors CIty product repaired or replaced if Doors CIty product fails to be of acceptable quality and Doors CIty could not replace Doors CIty product within a reasonable time.
